Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of VoxAntivirus. Last updated: August 4, 2026.
1. Agreement to Terms
By using VoxAntivirus services ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. VoxDigits Communications LLC ("VoxAntivirus") provides the Service subject to these terms.
2. User Responsibilities
You agree to: (a) provide accurate account information, (b) keep your password secure, (c) use the Service only for lawful purposes, (d) not attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service, (e) not use the Service to harm others, and (f) comply with all applicable laws and our Acceptable Use Policy.
3. Early Access and Payments
VoxAntivirus is in early access and is not selling plans, accepting payments, or processing subscriptions at this time. Joining the early-access interest list is free and does not create an account, charge, or subscription. If paid plans are introduced in the future, billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be published before any charges are made.
4. Acceptable Use
You may not use VoxAntivirus to: violate laws, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, send spam, conduct attacks, access unauthorized systems, or engage in any activity prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in immediate account termination.
5. Account Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. VoxAntivirus may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Data associated with your account will be deleted within 30 days.
6. Service Description
VoxAntivirus is a Windows desktop application. It scans folders and USB drives using SHA-256 signature matching against an included signature database, lets you quarantine, restore, or delete items you choose to act on, monitors selected Windows folders, alerts on suspicious activity, flags executable file types in downloads, and manages Windows Firewall settings. Detection is limited to known included hashes; monitoring alerts but does not block; and removal is limited to user-initiated quarantine. VoxAntivirus does not claim to protect against, block, or prevent malware, ransomware, or phishing. We do not guarantee any security outcome and are not liable for damage caused by malware or other threats. Use trusted security software for protection. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxAntivirus shall not be liable for: (a) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, (b) loss of data or profits, (c) service interruptions, or (d) any damages exceeding the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold VoxAntivirus harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia, United States. We shall make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes informally before litigation.
10. AI Integrations
VoxAntivirus may offer optional integrations with ChatGPT and other MCP-compatible AI clients. By connecting an AI client, you authorize it to request the VoxAntivirus tools and account information you approve through OAuth. The integration is intended for product guidance and access to permitted account information, such as your own subscription status. It does not perform a device scan unless a genuine product capability explicitly states that it does. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated responses before relying on them for security decisions.
11. Third-Party Platforms
AI clients, payment processors, app stores, and other third-party platforms are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. VoxAntivirus is not responsible for a third-party platform’s availability, interface, model output, or independent processing of information you choose to share with it. You may disconnect an AI integration at any time.
12. Intellectual Property
The VoxAntivirus software, brand, and content are the property of VoxDigits Communications LLC. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the software for the duration of your subscription.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
